Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
  • Support students with hearing impairments to engage fully in the educational environment

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to educational and legal guidelines related to interpretation services
  • Travel to various school locations as required to provide consistent services

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
