Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in school settings
- Previous teaching experience or certification in ASL is highly preferred
- Familiarity with supporting elementary-age students
- Ability to work onsite, collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school activities
- Support students educational and social participation
