Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter for school settings, with travel requirements to various locations in Onida, SD. This role involves providing communication access for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring effective educational support and inclusion within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction and school activities
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff to support equitable participation
- Collaborate with educational teams to tailor interpreting services to student needs
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
- Travel to assigned schools within the Onida, SD area as part of service delivery
