A position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support educational communication in schools located in Missoula, MT. This travel assignment involves working within diverse school settings to facilitate effective communication between deaf or hard of hearing students and their educators, promoting inclusive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students educational plans.
- Adapt interpreting approaches to meet the individual needs of students.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines relevant to interpreting in educational settings.
- Travel locally within Missoula as required to cover multiple school locations.
Qualifications & Experience:
