Job Description

As an interpreter, your work will be guided by the districts needs, and your age group placement will match your strengths and preferencesdiscussed directly during the interview process. Accurate daily documentation of your services is essential, as maintaining detailed service logs is a key responsibility in this role.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Valid Georgia Educator Certification for Sign Language Interpreters with an EIPA score of 3.5 or above
  • Candidates with close EIPA scores, committed to retaking the exam, may be considered for a SLI Technician role with the opportunity for transition to a full SLI position
  • Experience interpreting in educational settings is highly valued
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to consistently maintain service records
  • Flexible attitude and readiness to work collaboratively with school staff
