Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Georgia Educator Certificate for Sign Language Interpreters
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
  • Prior experience providing sign language interpretation services in educational settings strongly preferred
  • Commitment to completing daily service documentation logs
  • Responsive, collaborative communication style

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services in classroom and school-based settings
  • Support deaf or hard-of-hearing students, adapting to individual educational plans and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to foster student inclusion and engagement
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and records of services provided according to school procedures
  • Participate in interviews to determine your optimal student placement, ensuring your experience aligns with the caseload
