This position offers an opportunity to work as an Educational Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting located in Melrose, NM. The role is a contract position starting as soon as possible through May 21, 2026, with a 32-hour workweek, Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
Responsibilities include interpreting one-on-one for a preschool student as well as providing sign language exposure to students in grades 1 through 8. This role requires clear and accurate communication using American Sign Language (ASL) to support the educational development of hearing-impaired students.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) license in New Mexico
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
- Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred
