Job Description

A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in educational settings. This role is based in Los Alamos, NM, with a travel component that offers exposure to various school environments. Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills in educational contexts
  • Experience working within schools or similar settings interpreting for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
  • Ability to travel to different school locations as required, adapting to various classroom environments
  • Strong knowledge of educational terminology and protocols to ensure accurate interpretation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with teachers, students, and staff

Location: Los Alamos, New Mexico, with regular travel duties between schools

Responsibilities:
