Make a significant impact by supporting K-12 students as a Sign Language Interpreter for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing communication and educational access for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an EIPA score above 4.0a requirement for this discipline.
• Valid licensure in the applicable State / Discipline.
• Proven experience interpreting for students within elementary through high school environments (K-12).
• Strong grasp of American Sign Language (ASL) and related interpreting techniques.
• Adept at working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear and effective communication between students, teachers, and peers in classroom and school settings.
• Adapt interpretation styles to fit each students language needs and learning preferences.
• Participate in team meetings, IEP discussions, and school events as needed.
• Support students academic and social development by ensuring information is accurately accessible.
• Maintain professional documentation and uphold standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.
