Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid educator certification
- Minimum score of 75% on the EIPA written test
- Either a 4.0 or higher on the EIPA performance test, or an active NIC from RID
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear onsite sign language interpretation for students and staff within the school setting
- Support seamless communication during classroom instruction, meetings, and school activities
- Adjust interpreting methods to best suit students age, abilities, and individual education plans
- Collaborate with educational teams and participate in relevant staff meetings
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interpretation scenarios
