Qualifications:

• Current Interpreter License (State Licensure required)
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Bilingual skills in Spanish strongly preferred
• Middle School Sign Language Interpretation experience is a plus
• MSL (Manual Sign Language) proficiency highly regarded
• Flexibility to work onsite at school locations
• Professionalism, dependability, and strong communication skills
• Must be available for full-time, all-day hours

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a middle school student in various educational settings
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance educational access
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sensitivity toward students needs
• Adhere to all guidelines, policies, and procedures of the educational setting
• Adjust communication and interpretation style to suit classroom activities
