Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support educational settings in Laurel, MD, and surrounding areas. This travel assignment involves working in various schools, providing vital communication access to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Candidates should have a strong background in sign language interpretation within educational environments and be comfortable with travel between different school locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret sign language for students, teachers, and staff during classroom instruction and school events
- Facilitate clear and effective communication to enhance student learning and participation
- Collaborate with educators and support personnel to ensure inclusive educational experiences
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Adapt interpretation services to meet diverse student needs and settings
