Enhance your career as a Sign Language Interpreter by supporting a third-grade student in a vibrant educational setting near Burnsville, MN. This contract opportunity begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 3, 2027, offering consistent weekday hours from 8:45 AM to 3:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break), totaling 33.75 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid EIPA Score of 4.0 or higher
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpretation in academic settings
- Previous experience working 1:1 with students in schools highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interpreting strategies to meet the dynamic needs of a young learner
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 sign language interpretation for a third-grade student throughout the school day
- Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, and peers during lessons and activities
- Ensure accurate and age-appropriate interpretation in both academic and social contexts
- Collaborate with school personnel to foster an accessible and supportive learning environment
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
