Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter for a school assignment located in Lake Charles, LA. This travel position offers morning hours from 7:35 AM to 9:35 AM, providing a focused schedule for professionals with expertise in sign language interpretation.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficient Sign Language Interpreter skills
- EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 4.0 or higher
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators
- Interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa during instructional time
- Support students' access to educational content by ensuring clear and accurate interpretation
