Your role will focus on providing direct interpretation services to students who are Deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring equal access to classroom instruction and effective communication with peers and teachers. As you assist multiple students across elementary grade levels, your skills and dedication will help foster an inclusive learning experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current Intervener Certification is mandatory
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and previous experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings
• Familiarity with supporting elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ASL interpretation during classroom instruction, group activities, and school events
