Seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This travel-based opportunity is located in Kent, WA, offering diverse experiences across multiple educational environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure accessibility and effective communication.
- Assist in the development of communication plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Travel to various schools within the Kent area to support multiple assignments.
