A school-based travel opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter located in Jersey City, NJ. This role involves providing effective communication support to deaf and hard-of-hearing students within various educational settings, ensuring accessibility and inclusion in the learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear and accurate interpretation between students, teachers, and staff using American Sign Language (ASL).
• Assist in classroom settings, school events, and meetings as needed.
• Adapt interpreting style to meet the needs of diverse audiences and age groups.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student learning and participation.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification preferred.

• Flexibility to travel between schools within the designated region.
