A travel position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support educational settings in Idaho Falls, ID. This role involves providing clear and effective communication support to deaf and hard-of-hearing students within a school environment, ensuring accessibility to the curriculum and classroom interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction and school activities
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff to support an inclusive learning environment
- Assist with one-on-one and group instructional sessions as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Travel to various school locations within the assigned region as required
