Qualifications:
- Must hold at least one of the four nationally recognized sign language interpreter certifications
- Experience in educational settings preferred, especially with secondary students
- Proficient in ASL and familiar with cochlear implants, hearing aids, and ALD devices
- Strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide ASL interpretation for a 9th grade student in a behavioral classroom (instructional time only)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate optimal learning environments
- Support the students transition and adjustment following return from a specialized day school program
