Qualifications:

• Must hold at least one of the four nationally recognized sign language interpreter certifications
• Experience in educational settings preferred, especially with secondary students
• Proficient in ASL and familiar with cochlear implants, hearing aids, and ALD devices
• Strong communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide ASL interpretation for a 9th grade student in a behavioral classroom (instructional time only)
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate optimal learning environments
• Support the students transition and adjustment following return from a specialized day school program
