Job Description

A full-time Sign Language Interpreter position is available to provide 1:1 support for a kindergarten student. This contract role starts ASAP and continues through May 28, 2026, located in New Bern, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services to a kindergarten student in a school setting.
  • Facilitate clear and accurate communication between the student, teachers, and peers.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure the students needs are met effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Valid EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score required.
  • Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in an educational environment.
  • Ability to work full-time hours.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education and communication techniques.
