Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality sign language interpreting services for elementary school students across multiple school settings
• Interpret in various classroom and school activities, ensuring effective communication between students, educators, and staff
• Travel between five distinct school buildings within the district to fulfill caseload duties as an itinerant interpreter
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and assist in creating an inclusive educational environment
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to facilitate appropriate accommodations and communication access

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum EIPA score of 3.5; a 4.0 EIPA score is highly preferred
• Previous experience interpreting in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills for managing a multi-location caseload
• Comfort with travel and flexibility working between various educational sites
• Ability to work independently and as part of an educational support team
