Desired Qualifications:
- Verifiable completion of an Interpreter Training Program
- Current RID certification and/or EIPA assessment score of 4.0 or above (as required by WA State law)
- Valid Washington State drivers license or proof of reliable transportation/mobility
- Prior experience in school or classroom settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpretation in classrooms and educational environments
- Ensure communication access for D/HH students and community members, adhering to IDEA, ADA, and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate learning and inclusion
- Support instructional activities under teacher guidance as needed
