Step into a meaningful role supporting students and fostering inclusive communication in an educational environment as a Sign Language Interpreter. This full-time, onsite contract position extends through the 2026-2027 school year and offers the chance to work closely with K-12 students, making a real difference in their academic and social experience.

Key qualifications:

• Experience providing sign language interpretation in school settings
• EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
• Valid state licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Strong skills in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Proficiency supporting children across K-12 grade levels
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and effective sign language interpretation for students, teachers, and staff in classrooms and throughout the campus
• Support student participation in academic and extracurricular activities by bridging communication gaps
• Collaborate with general and special education teams to develop and implement individualized support strategies
• Maintain confidentiality while fostering trust and positive rapport with students
• Uphold professional standards and participate in ongoing professional development
