We're seeking a Sign Language Interpreter to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in the Fredericksburg, VA area for the upcoming school year.
Position Highlights:
-Full-time, school-based position
-Interpret classroom instruction, meetings, and school activities
-Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
-Help ensure students have full access to instruction and the school environment
Requirements:
-Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
-VQAS Level III or EIPA Written Test with a minimum EIPA Performance score of 3.5 (or equivalent Virginia-approved credential)
-School-based interpreting experience preferred
