A school district in the Franklin, TN area is seeking three skilled Sign Language Interpreters (SLI) to support K-12 students. Two positions are based at a middle school, and one is based at a high school. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Valid EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Experience working with general education populations
• Availability to work onsite at assigned middle and high school locations
• Ability to provide clear and effective sign language interpretation to support student communication
• 0 to 10+ years of relevant sign language interpreting experience within school settings

Responsibilities include:

• Interpreting spoken language into sign language for students during instructional and school activities
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective communication and access for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Participating in meetings and planning to address students language and communication needs
• Maintaining professional standards and confidentiality while supporting student success
