A qualified Sign Language Interpreter is needed to provide communication support in educational settings. This travel position is based in Frankfort, KY, and involves working within schools to facilitate effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction and school events
- Ensure accurate and clear communication to support students learning and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to enhance accessibility
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Travel to various school locations in the Frankfort, KY area as required
Desired Skills and Experience:
