A travel opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support educational settings in Fishers, Indiana. This role involves providing clear and effective communication access for students, staff, and families who use American Sign Language (ASL), ensuring full participation in classroom and school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken English into American Sign Language and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
- Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and administration.
- Work collaboratively with educators and support staff to accommodate students' communication needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.
- Travel as required to various school locations within the assignment area.
