Qualifications:
- 3.0 EIPA or higher credential required
- Proven experience interpreting in educational or school-based environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt to various communication needs and learning styles
- Professionalism, dependability, and a team-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, effective interpretation for students, staff, and parents in classroom and school settings
- Support students access to curriculum and activities throughout the school day
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations
- Maintain ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism per industry standards
- Adjust interpreting techniques as needed to best serve students abilities and comprehension
