Job Description

A position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support students and staff within a school setting in Duluth, MN. This role involves travel assignments, providing interpreting services across multiple school locations, ensuring effective communication access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clear and accurate interpretation between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English in educational environments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to support classroom instruction, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
  • Adapt interpreting techniques to match various educational settings and student needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Travel to assigned schools within the Duluth area as required.

Desired Qualifications:
