Hours: Full-Time (35+ hours/week)

Schools Assigned: 1 per position

Openings: Multiple (Soft Job district actively advertising needs)

Required License: Active CO DOE Certification

Position Summary

Sunbelt Staffing is looking to fill multiple Special Education Teacher positions for the 20262027 school year. These are onsite, fulltime roles across elementary, middle, and high school centerbased programs.

These openings include Affective Needs, Structured Learning Services, Significant Support Needs (SSN), and Learning Specialist positions. 

Available Positions

• Affective Needs Teacher Fulltime, Elementary 

• Structured Learning Services Teacher Fulltime, Elementary

• Structured Learning Services Teacher Fulltime, Elementary

• Learning Specialist Fulltime, Middle School

• SSN Teacher Fulltime, High School

Caseload & Job Details

These roles support students with a range of needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Responsibilities may include:

• Assessment & Evaluation Conduct academic and functional assessments

• IEP Development & Implementation Write, update, and execute IEP goals

• Classroom Management Maintain structured, supportive learning environments

• Differentiated Instruction Deliver lessons tailored to student needs

• Collaboration Work with paras, related service providers, and families

• CenterBased Program Support Provide intensive academic and behavioral support

Qualifications

• Active Colorado DOE Certification

• Experience in centerbased or specialized programs preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, and instructional skills

• Ability to support diverse learners across multiple disability categories

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.00 to $40.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
