An educational Sign Language Interpreter position is available near Decatur, AL, to support a student in a school setting. This full-time, contract role requires providing 1:1 interpreting services to a single student during the school year. The position offers consistent weekly pay as a W2 employee along with benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Key qualifications and experience desired for this role include:

• Valid Alabama Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) Certification
• Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• A preferred EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score of 3.5 or above
• Previous experience with educational interpreting to support students in a classroom environment

Responsibilities for this position will involve:

• Delivering clear and accurate sign language interpretation in academic settings
