Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Sign Language Interpreter certification with an EIPA score
• Experience or expertise working with young children in an educational setting
• Strong ASL skills with the ability to effectively facilitate communication in a classroom
• Professionalism, adaptability, and a collaborative approach with educators and support staff
• A passion for empowering students with diverse communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 interpreting services to a kindergarten student throughout the school day
• Foster engagement and understanding during classroom instruction, activities, and school events
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and school professionals to address individualized student needs
• Maintain confidentiality and promote a supportive environment for student learning and social development
