Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient skills as a Sign Language Interpreter in school settings.
  • Minimum EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.
  • Current state interpreter license through GaPSC.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.

Position Details:

  • Flexible scheduling options: Choose from either 32.5 hours per week (MondayFriday) or 16 hours per week (Tuesday & Wednesday only).
  • Serve as the dedicated interpreter for one student, ensuring personalized attention and continuity.
  • Engage with a self-contained classroom, adapting communication to suit the individual learning needs of middle school students.
  • Facilitate clear, accurate interpretation between students, teachers, and peers to promote full participation in educational activities.
