Job Description

This opportunity, located near Conover, NC, offers a full-time contract position supporting educational environments and enriching communication for individuals who rely on ASL interpretation.

Youll be engaged in dynamic days working Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:30 pm, for a total of 35 hours per week. The exact caseload will be communicated upon assignment, allowing you to prepare and tailor your approach to meet the specific needs of your school community.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
  • Candidates with RID certification are also eligible, regardless of EIPA status
  • Previous experience in school or educational settings is beneficial but not required
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities
