Qualifications:

  • Active GA Educator Certificate for Sign Language Interpreters with an EIPA score of 3.5+
  • OR, SLI Para with recent EIPA scores (intent to re-test) for potential tech-to-interpreter pathway
  • Experience interpreting in an educational setting preferred
  • Comfortable completing daily service logs
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with staff to determine best placement (grade/age level)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign language interpretation for students across varying grade levels
  • Support educational access and communication in classroom and school activities
  • Collaborate with district staff to tailor placement based on your expertise and preference
  • Maintain accurate documentation of daily interpreting services
