Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Educator Certificate for Sign Language Interpreters
  • EIPA score of at least 3.5
  • Prior experience in a school environment highly preferred
  • Comfort with daily service documentation/logs
  • Willingness to work onsite (no virtual/VOCO assignments)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential sign language interpretation services within school settings
  • Collaborate with educators to ensure equal access for D/deaf and hard-of-hearing students
  • Maintain clear daily logs of services rendered
  • Participate in planning meetings and support best placement based on strengths and preferences
