Bring your expertise as an ASL Interpreter to an engaging contract position serving elementary students onsite. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact throughout the 26-27 school year, with 37.5 hours per week supporting young learners who rely on your skills for access and inclusion.

In this collaborative environment, you'll assist multiple students across elementary grade levels, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive both academically and socially. Your proficiency in sign language interpretation will bridge communication gaps within the classroom and enhance students' educational experiences.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Intervener Certification required
• Strong command of American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience interpreting in an educational or school-based setting preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• A passion for fostering an inclusive environment for students

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom instruction and activities for elementary students using ASL
• Support multiple students by facilitating clear communication during lessons, therapies, and school events
• Act as a liaison between students, teachers, and peers to enhance academic success and participation
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Monitor student progress and contribute input to IEP teams as needed
