To excel in this role, youll need:

• A current NJ SLI certification
• Experience interpreting in school settings preferred
• Strong command of American Sign Language (ASL)
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families

Key responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for high school students in classroom and school-related activities
• Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and peers
• Adapt interpreting styles to fit individual student needs
• Support educational goals by accurately conveying lesson content
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
