- Certification or licensure appropriate for interpreters in educational environments preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classes, meetings, and school events
- Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and peers
- Assist in adapting learning materials as needed for accessibility
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide insights to support student progress
