This contract opportunity offers flexible, per diem hours, responding to the dynamic needs of schools in the area. You'll play a valuable role, focusing on interpreting services during testing periods for students district-widehelping ensure every learner has access to essential academic experiences.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid 3.5 EIPA score or higher
• Current GAPSC credential for Sign Language Interpreting
• Skilled in American Sign Language (ASL) and experienced with educational interpreting
• Ability to adapt communication styles for children and adolescents across a range of grade levels
• Strong commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and collaboration with educational teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality sign language interpretation for students during district-wide testing sessions
• Support students communication with teachers, staff, and peers throughout various academic settings
• Adapt interpreting methods to suit different age groups and testing protocols
• Foster inclusive learning environments and help facilitate equitable access to curriculum and assessments
• Maintain accurate records, comply with district procedures, and ensure student privacy at all times
