Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for school-based assignments across various locations for the 20262027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for interpreters who are open to travel while providing meaningful 1:1 and classroom interpreting services for K12 students.

Position Details
Location: Nationwide Travel (Assignment locations vary)
Schedule: Full-Time | School-Based
School Year: 20262027
Setting: K12 School Environments
Responsibilities
Provide sign language interpreting services for students in classroom and school settings
Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
Support access to academic instruction and school activities
Collaborate with educational teams to ensure student success
Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all settings
Adapt to varying school environments and student needs across assignments
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher required
Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability and willingness to travel for assignments
Commitment to supporting student access and inclusion

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.00 to $40.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
