This position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, ensuring steady hours (37.5 per week) through the school year and the chance to make a tangible difference in students academic journeys.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score required
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience interpreting in K-12 school settings
• Understanding of classroom dynamics and ability to interpret in various instructional environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, faculty, and families
• Ability to adapt interpreting style to student age and academic content

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear, accurate communication between students, staff, and peers using sign language
• Provide interpreting services during classroom instruction, assemblies, extracurricular activities, and meetings as needed
