What Youll Do:

• Deliver expert American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for deaf or hard-of-hearing middle school students during classroom instruction and school-related activities.
• Act as a communication bridge between students, teachers, staff, and peers to ensure everyone is understood and included.
• Partner with educational teams to promote a learning environment where all students can thrive.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards for educational interpreting.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• An EIPA score of 4.0 or above, or equivalent state-recognized interpreting credentials.
• Previous experience interpreting in school settingsespecially with middle school studentsis highly valued.
• Flexibility and eagerness to engage as a collaborative team member within an educational environment.
• Ability to successfully complete all required onboarding steps, including background checks.
