Step into a vital role supporting educational access and communication for students who use ASL. This contract opportunity is based onsite in a welcoming school near Blaine, WA and runs throughout the full 2026/2027 academic year. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will serve one dedicated K-12 student in a classroom setting, providing essential interpretation services to empower learning and participation.

This is a full-time position, with consistent hours totaling 37.5 each week from August 19th through June 4th, 2027.

Requirements for Success:

• Valid Washington SLI (Sign Language Interpreter) Certificate
• Minimum EIPA score of 4.0
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Ability to work full-time onsite at a single school location
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, particularly within an educational environment
• Experience supporting K-12 students is highly valued

• Provide accurate, ethical sign language interpretation for one student with ASL communication needs
• Facilitate clear and effective communication within the classroom, fostering the students engagement and learning
