Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) to provide services for K-12 students in a school setting located in Biddeford, ME. This full-time contract position is available for the current school year (CSY) and requires onsite work to support students directly throughout their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality American Sign Language interpretation services to K-12 students
• Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff
• Support inclusive classroom environments by ensuring accessibility for deaf or hard-of-hearing students
• Collaborate with educational teams to meet individualized student needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Maine Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) License is required
• Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language and interpreting skills
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Ability to work full-time onsite during regular school hours
