Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services to elementary school students across five different buildings.
• Support communication between students, teachers, and staff within diverse educational settings.
• Adapt to itinerant and float schedules, managing a caseload spread throughout multiple schools.
• Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Collaborate with educational teams to support students access to curriculum and school activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score required; 4.0 preferred.
• Experience interpreting in schools, particularly in elementary settings, highly desirable.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple school buildings.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently across various locations.
• Previous experience as an itinerant or float interpreter is an advantage.
