This travel position involves working directly with students and staff in schools to facilitate effective communication for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and fluent sign language interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff to ensure equal access to educational content
• Assist in promoting an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all students
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Travel to various school locations within the designated region as required

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills
