Youll support a high school sophomore in mostly general education classes, fostering communication, inclusion, and academic success in a full-time setting (35 hours per week) through the end of May.

Qualifications:

  • Valid KS licensure for Sign Language Interpreting
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a passion for student support

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one interpreting services for a high school sophomore in general education classes
  • Support student participation, engagement, and inclusion in classroom activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective communication
  • Uphold all privacy and ethical standards in educational interpreting
