This position involves travel to multiple schools, providing essential communication assistance to deaf and hard-of-hearing students to enhance their learning experience and participation in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between students, teachers, and staff using American Sign Language (ASL).
• Interpret spoken English into ASL and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure effective communication access and support tailored to student needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and school personnel.
• Travel as required to various school sites within the designated area.
