Core Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into ASL (and vice versa) for students, staff, and parents during lessons, assemblies, meetings, and other school functions
• Support understanding and participation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Collaborate closely with teachers and educational teams to maximize student access and success
• Maintain confidentiality in all student and school matters
• Provide cultural mediation and advocacy when appropriate
• Participate in ongoing training or meetings as necessary to enhance service delivery
